Sponsoring Pre-school at Kampung Speu, Cambodia

AIWT has taken up the challenge of sponsoring 5 teachers, a teacher assistant and pay for their school's fixed and on going expenses for a preschool at kampung Speu, Cambodia for the next 3 years. Currently there are 51 children ranging from age 3 to 6 attending the pre-school.

The aim of AIWT is to improve the quality lifestyle of the children in Cambodia with the hope that they will be able to sustain themselves in three years and also expand the school througout Cambodia.

We are constantly sending educational toys and equipment to the children. If you have any toys for children from 3 to 6 years old, please feel free to donate them.

The immediate objectives:

1. provide chairs and tables

2. lightning

3. celing

4. educational toys and materials

We will also visit the school twice each year. Our representative, Tanya (qualified teacher in LOTE and TESOL trainer ) has agreed to travel twice a year to Cambodia. Her travel expenses are covered by AIWT. She will spend her time training the teachers.

Water Saver

AIWT is saving water and helping the environment. We recycle used hand washing water to flush the toilets. Up to 40,000L of water is saved each year and recycles up to 29,200L (based on an average family of 4).

Taska Sinapi (Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia)

AIWT will be opening up a child care centre in Kuching in November 2008. Staff from AIWT will be sent to Kuching during WA's term breaks.

4. to impart AIWT's knowledge, skills and experience to the community of Sarawakians through meetings, workshops, hands on experience.

AIWT sponsored Equipe industries based in Perth, Western Australia in 2007. AIWT Students of 2007, this is where your money was invested.

My name is Jase Schroeder and I run an innovative youth motivation initiative called Equipe Industries. We are industry leaders in life skills education, motivational presentations, leadership development and much more throughout Western Australian high schools. Equipe industries aims to see the youth of today inspired and equipped to be successful in all facets of life and in the past 2 years we have presented live to over 40,000 WA teenagers in 60 schools.

Every story needs an introduction and ours is highlighted by the generous support of Tracy Teo at AIWT. The substantial financial backing that Tracy released to our company set a FIRM foundation for the work we now continue to expand into. Thousands of teenage West Australians would have missed the opportunity to have been empowered, encouraged and inspired if not for AIWT.
